It’s seriously important that your photographer and videographer are on the same page and, ideally, have worked together before.
Ask anyone in the industry and they’ll have a few horror stories about being paired with someone whose style or approach just doesn’t line up. It can get awkward fast, and you feel that on the day.
A simple rule that works every time: if you book one first, ask them who they love working with, then choose from that list. Not because there’s any kickbacks, but because we know how much better the day flows when there’s already trust, chemistry and a shared approach.
When your photo and video team click, the vibe is better, things run smoother, and you’ll feel way more comfortable with cameras around you all day. And that always shows in the final result.
As a Yarra Valley wedding photographer, below are my favourite videographers to work with across the Yarra Valley and Melbourne.
Every film you see on this page is from a wedding where I was also the photographer, you might even spot me floating around in some of the vids. Usually on the dance floor.

AISLE PRODUCTIONS

Zac & Louise
A super sweet, young videographer duo, well, much younger than me anyway, haha. These two bring such a good energy to a wedding day, easygoing, fun to be around, and completely dialled when it comes to capturing it all.
They’re the kind of people you genuinely want around you on a wedding day, which makes a huge difference, and it shows in their films too. Their work feels natural, relaxed, and full of the real moments, all wrapped up in a really polished final product that punches well above its price point.
We’ve worked together a countless number of times now and always have great chemistry and banter, which makes the day flow effortlessly. I also had the pleasure of photographing their own wedding back at the start of 2022, which says a lot about the kind of people they are, just an all-round incredible day.

FEEL GOOD FILMS

Sash
This guy. I started shooting weddings alongside Sash before anyone else listed on this page. We’ve shot so many weddings alongside each other that we’ve genuinely lost count at this point.
We know each other and how we work inside out, and that kind of familiarity makes a massive difference on a wedding day. There’s a level of communication and connection between us that only comes from doing this together time and time again, everything just flows, no overthinking, no getting in each other’s way.
On top of that, he’s got a cracking sense of humour and, annoyingly, is a very good-looking man, which somehow makes him even more likeable to couples and guests alike.
What I really rate though is his approach. He’s a less is more operator, never over the top with gear or presence, just quietly getting the job done while capturing everything that matters. The end result is films that feel effortless, natural, and true to the day.
When you’ve got someone like Sash alongside you, you know everything’s in good hands.

HEAD AND HEART

Tea. As in, a cup of.
Tea’s wedding films are seriously sweet, but not in that over-the-top, too-much-sugar kind of way. It’s that perfect balance of romance, fun, and real backstory that actually means something.
What really sets his work apart is the “why”. Why you love your partner, why you’re choosing each other, why this day matters. That thread runs through all of his films, and it’s what makes them hit so hard every time you watch them back.
I’ve seen it firsthand at weddings like Bridget & Tim’s at Emu Bottom Homestead in Sunbury, the very last one I shot before the world shut down in 2020. There was no official ban yet, but everyone could feel it coming. Emotions were high, and Tea captured that energy beautifully, the nerves, the joy, the weight of the moment, all of it.
If you want a film that actually takes you back to how it felt, not just how it looked, he’s your guy.

KIMBERLEY MOORE MEDIA

Kim.
The first time I met Kim at a wedding we were both shooting, I was absolutely stoked. Finally, another shooter who could match my energy and push me to lift my A-game even further. I’d never really worked alongside someone who brought that same level of positivity and drive, and it honestly felt like a breath of fresh air from the get-go.
Shooting portraits with her is genuinely unreal too. I can ease back and lean harder into the creative side of things, knowing she’s completely dialled when it comes to directing the couple. There’s a real trust there, and it opens up space to experiment, push ideas, and land on something better than either of us would on our own.
What really sets Kim apart though is what she does after the day’s wrapped. Her edits are next level, but her sneak peek videos in particular are something to behold. They’re not just quick recaps, they’re incredibly creative, full of personality, and totally unique to each couple. You can spot a Kim sneak peek a mile away, and there’s a reason couples lose their minds over them.
Her end goal, style, vibe and energy are so closely aligned with mine, and it makes the whole day feel seamless. Everything just clicks. She’s truly one of a kind.
